European exhibition honors Iranian photographers

The 1st FKNS SLM Circuit in Serbia, Luxembourg, Montenegro awards Iranian photographers.

The 1st FKNS SLM Circuit in Serbia, Luxembourg, and Montenegro has honored several Iranian photographers with gold and silver medals.

Mohammad Esteki from Iran won the PSA Gold Medal in the Woman, Man, Child category for his photo ‘Noshin’ (the photo above). The PSA Gold Medal in the open monochrome category went to ‘Cry under Water’, also by Esteki.

A FIAP honorable mention in the same category was presented to Iran’s ‘Siren’ by Arlen Keshishian, while ‘Prayer in War Zones’ by Ahmad Khatiri won a Salon honorable mention in the Woman, Man, Child category.

The Salon Silver Medal in the Nature category also went to Khatiri for his ‘Brave Looking’. Esteki received a Salon honorable mention in the same section for his ‘Esferjan’.

A Salon honorable mention and an honorable mention in the portrait category were presented to Esteki for his ‘Margaret’ and ‘Old History’, respectively.

Seyyed-Ehsan Mortazavi won an honorable mention in the open color section for his ‘The Magic Window’.

Esteki’s ‘Hard Man’ brought him an honorable mention in the open color category of the Luxembourg exhibition and the same honor in the open monochrome category was presented to Kiarang Alaee’s ‘The Alley’.

The jury of the 1st FKNS SLM Circuit was headed by Serbian photographer Zoran Djordjevic and composed of Ali Samei from Iran and Tianyi Xiong from China.

The circular exhibition of photography was held with contributions from the Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP), the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and several other centers.

The first edition of the exhibition was held in Serbia’s Novi Sad, Luxembourg’s Kaerjeng, and Montenegro’s Podgorica on February 15-28.
